Hi, I'm Italia and I am running for the position of President for PALS! I have been on committee for 3 years now, starting out as a PALS2 co-lead, then PALS 3 co-lead, and I have enjoyed this last year as Vice President!

As a PALS2 lead, I delivered weekly (and sometimes bi-weekly) revision and teaching sessions for the year 2 students. In the future, I would like to think about the possibility of having more of a focus on anatomy teaching and making use the of DR facilities!

As a PALS3 co-lead, I help organise and deliver an 8-station mOSCE which was endorsed and vetted by the medical school - this is a quality unique to PALS and is what makes us so special, to have their support!

I am so proud of everything that PALS stands for and the events that we run to help students of all backgrounds and abilities. I am a big believer in Medical Education and helping students to achieve the best they can!

I have brought so many things to life with PALS, and I have so many ideas for the near future that I can't wait to share with you all. Given my experience and time on committee, I believe I would be an excellent candidate for president, having worked closely with the last president I am confident that I can take on the role and bring another successful year of peer learning to you!
