Hey everyone! I'm Sumayyah, and I am currently studying Medicine at the UOL. As a Pakistani-Pashtun who takes great pride in her culture and heritage, a role on the PakSoc committee seems like an excellent opportunity to channel my enthusiasm. My time on the sub-committee last year, combined with my experience in planning events and my attention to detail, makes me an ideal candidate for this role. I hope that I am able to show you more of my creative genius i.e. the balloon game on the PakSoc Fresher's GIAG and bring you more enjoyable events. Hoping 2022/23 will be a year filled with fun events and something for everyone!

Hey guys! My name is Aysha, I am currently a third-year adult nursing student at the University of Leeds. I am a confident, positive person that always strives to complete tasks and carry out responsibilities as precisely as possible. I love going to Paksoc events and meeting new people from different backgrounds and welcoming those from many interesting cultures and heritages, so much so, it makes going to these events comfortable and familiar for me, as I hope it will for anyone else that attends. As an events officer I will make sure that all social activities, gatherings, and events run as smoothly as possible, ensuring everyone has a great time. I have lots of exciting new ideas for the society and for future events and will welcome any suggestions from people to make all Paksoc events be as memorable as they can be for everyone.
