Hey everyone! I’m Anita, and I’m excited to run for Social Secretary of our amazing Anime & Manga Society!

Anime and manga unite people, and I want to ensure our society continues to be a vibrant, welcoming space where everyone can enjoy unforgettable experiences. If elected, I’ll work closely with the committee to organise exciting events, from watch parties and themed club nights to convention trips and creative new activities based on what you want to see.

The main focus I want to incorporate into the society is more chances for members to be able to socialise beyond weekly viewings, a chance for people to actually get to know one another and expand their friendships. My current working idea is the inclusion of game nights, an opportunity for members to interact in a fun way whilst also bringing them to a more comfortable position with their committee, allowing for ideas, concerns and any other points of interest to flow effortlessly from the average member to those in charge.

I’ll also keep our social media buzzing with updates, polls, and highlights, making it easier for everyone to stay engaged and share ideas. I’ll always be open to hearing your suggestions, ensuring our events reflect what you love. With careful budgeting and planning, I’ll ensure we can pull off ambitious, well-organized activities while keeping them affordable and accessible to everyone.
