Haiii AniSoc! 💖

I’m Salem, and I’m so excited to be running for Secretary of AniSoc this year!
Having been Vice President for the past year and an active member for two years, I’ve gained the experience and dedication needed to step up and contribute even more to this fantastic community. But beyond experience, what truly matters to me is the friendships and connections I’ve made, and I can’t wait to welcome even more people into our society!

As Secretary, I’ll have the opportunity to strengthen our community further. I’ll manage our social media and serve as the Equality and inclusion Officer, ensuring that AniSoc remains a welcoming and vibrant space for everyone. I’ve already taken steps towards this; this year, I introduced and ran the Buddy Scheme, which was a huge success in fostering new friendships and a stronger sense of belonging. I want to keep building on that momentum and create even more connections within Anisoc.

I also already have a great working relationship with both the current and incoming committee, meaning we’ll be able to hit the ground running and make AniSoc the best it’s ever been!
