After being lucky enough to compete with ballet this year I would really love the opportunity of being 25/26 Intermediate Comp Captain. I’ve danced since I was 4 and been a part of LUU Ballet and Modern society throughout my two years at uni, easily being the best part of my uni life! Getting to compete with such an amazing group this year was such a joy, and I’d love nothing more than to help make next years comp season just as special. I would love to follow in Ellen's footsteps in creating a supportive environment where everyone feels heard, working closely with the advanced comp captain.
As for me – I’m super approachable, a good communicator and I like to think I bring a good energy even on the super long comp days. I’m proactive, adaptable and annoyingly organised, always having a to-do list on the go. As someone who competes for both ballet and modern, I’m confident I will be able to communicate and liaise with the modern comp reps effectively, to continue and extend our long-standing collaboration and support for one another. Through my past comp experience I’m aware of the hard work that is needed but I’d love to give it my all using my passion and determination to support each other and just have the best time – whilst picking up some trophies along the way of course!
