LAMMPS, I am so desperate to direct a fun silly show again with u wonderful people. This society has been my big happy family for 6 years and I WILL make this last one count.

My directorial credentials are as follows (all LAMMPS):
Be more chill 2020 - assistant director
Lightning thief 2022 - director
Addams family 2023 - director (best performance riley award yayyy)
Bossing my friends around 24/7

My priorities in directing a LAMMPS show:
Worshipping backstage as they once again work magic on the riley stage
Putting the fabulous ensemble into every corner of the show I can
Providing cuddles and snacks for those more difficult rehearsal days
Scheduling rehearsals down to the minute because I love an excel spreadsheet

Charlie and the choc factory is a perfect show for us. It’s big and silly and funny and has lots of roles so everyone can be as involved as they want. I have many ideas but I’ve rambled on long enough, guess you’ll have to elect me to find out more ;)

I failed a year of uni for Addams and I’ll do it again for Charlie!!!! (actually I really hope not but the commitment is there)

As someone with previous directing experience as a shadow director for SMS’s Legally Blonde and stage manager for my high school production of Seussical I am ready to take the next step in a prod team.

I would encourage all strands to get involved whether its through auditions (especially with the wide variety of roles) or performing at our fundraiser, I want it to be a show all of LAMMPS can be proud of.

Backstage Experience:
Prev Exp as SM, I am able to make decisions with the lens of backstage as well and what can or can’t be done.
Organisational Experience:
My senior year I was able to be a State Thespian Officer and organise a state Festival and competition for Kentucky.
Committee Experience:
Wait I’m from SMS? All jokes aside as Comms this year I was responsible for the logistics of the Instagram, what posts were made and when. I am able to be a team player and leader to get things done.

Oompa Loompas:
Will give credit to Nathalie for this but I love this idea. Will work with the producer and their vision but can see the Oompa Loompas’ as different versions of Wonka himself as opposed to how it is done in the films.

Casting the Children:
For the children, I have seen versions where the kids look like young high school students and worked. Charlie will likely need to be female-presenting for the vocal range required.

Set, Props, & Budget:
Will communicate with Treasurer about the most efficient way to budget the show. Glass Elevator fly gag?!?!?!

Communication With Backstage:
Group Chat! This show will require a lot from Backstage and I will be available for them as much as possible. Will have meetings as needed for SFX, props, and set.
