My past experience with LAMMPS had been monumental. I have got to perform choir several times but I see the potential of making LAMMPS more diverse than it is.

As I am the only Malay in the choir, I believe I can be the bridge between LAMMPS and any Malaysian Society to make it more international and effective cultural sharing. LAMMPS has been a safe haven for me to grow within local environment and perspective and I am willing to do anything to reciprocate their good deed.

I have been a secretary before in highschool, managing a trip to various places in Borneo part of Malaysia and it would be nice that I can upskill my ability in managing choir concerts, dealing with different types of body/individuals/community introducing LAMMPS into myriad type of background.

Hiya, I’m Bea and I am running for Ultrasounds Choir Manager. I have been part of Ultrasounds for two years and I have made so many amazing friends. As choir manager I would be focused on scheduling rehearsals, socials and performances while also doing my best to make choir a fun and inclusive society where people can be themselves.
Here are some ideas of what I can do to help achieve this:
-making sure we have a fun and diverse repertoire which is an appropriate level for all singers
-organising more choir socials such as game nights, meals out and pub quizzes
-arranging new performance opportunities such as performing at local care homes and hospitals
-supplying lots of snacks and drinks at rehearsals to make sure choir are well fuelled throughout rehearsals

Hi! I’m Sophie, I’m currently a 2nd year medical student and I’m running for the choir manager role!
I have listed a couple reasons for why I would do a good job in this role. First and foremost, I love attending choir, therefore I will be able to and will enjoy putting my time and effort into the role. Furthermore, I rarely miss rehearsals so will be able to attend meetings. I enjoy organisational roles so I am looking forward to using my organisational skills towards my roles.
One of the attributes I believe is important in this role that I can provide, is being friendly and approachable. This is so if anyone has any questions/ concerns/ or suggestions I will be welcoming and open! Moreover, I love working with a team so am looking forward to collaborating with other committee members.
If I get the role, I want to work with the other committee members to continue the Ultrasounds favourite songs whilst also keeping our repertoire exciting and fresh. Moreover, I will keep both the Instagram and WhatsApp up to date so that members are aware of when rehearsals, performances, and socials are happening so we get maximum turnout!
