Heyy LAMMPS! My name is Hannah and I would LOVE to be your 2024/5 show producer!

A bit about me...

I've always been really keen to get involved with LAMMPS and help out anyway I can! Whether this be helping to set up for an event/fundraiser (on crutches as well!), running round putting posters up with Henry Marshall in Worsley or helping prod team with costume & makeup backstage! (including hot-gluing Elliot's costume to him mid-show) I have loved being able to open up into my creative side & support prod team anyway I can! I'm also super organised and an avid lover of Vinted & charity shops (specifically kirkstall cancer research 3)

I would love to be your producer Charlie & The Chocolate Factory because I think this musical truly encapsulates everything that is LAMMPS! I think this show is so funny and creative and costuming/production plays a huge role in creating this wacky world of Wonka, and believe I have the energy and enthusiasm to match!

Whilst I love the energy of the Glasgow Wonka Experience, I hope to be a little bit more extravagant with the costumes (within budget of course!). With so many wacky characters, this show is truly an opportunity to let out my inner child and my imagination run wild! With orange Oompa Loompas (no fake tan necessary lol), crazy hair and makeup and interestingly patterned trousers, I think I would be great at making this world come to life!

Having had a slight obsession with the Johnny Depp movie when I was 9 and having done a version of this show in school before, I have a general vision on what to expect and how I, as producer, can help to make this show larger than life!

Through essentially running the RadSoc instagram page this year, I also have a well-rounded familiarity with Canva and all things graphic design to truly convey how exciting this show is!

I would love to be considered for the role of Producer for the coming year. I think my understanding and intense passion for fashion (bratz ref), would make me super suitable for this role. I have so many exciting ideas for this year's show, and I would love it if you all would help me bring this to life!
