hello! My name is Zen and I am a 4th year medical student. Having been the choreographer for Our House, I really enjoyed my experience and would like to further it. I am a classically trained dancer and have been dancing for 21 years, I have a lot of experience in tap, jazz, ballet and contemporary and am a certified dance teacher in tap and modern jazz under the commonwealth society of teachers of dancing (CSTD). I started teaching when I was 14 and prior to coming to Leeds, I taught and choreographed tap, ballet, contemporary and jazz for 5 years! My goals if I am dance lead for the society is to make it as inclusive and open as possible to participants of all abilities as well as provide a challenge to members more confident in dance through increased exposure to different styles and encouraging and providing guidance in choreography and routine construction. I have a special interest in fosse style jazz and contemporary improvisation.
