I would like to put myself forward for the role of president of SMS as I believe I have all the qualities to work efficiently in this role. I'm a teamworker and love working with like-minded people, I care greatly for others and am an organised leader. I adore SMS and would love to give back to the society that has given me so much!

Hey sexies! Why do I want to be President you ask? Well! This society means the world to me and all I want to do is be able to give back to the people who made my experience here in Leeds a thousand times better than I ever could have imagined! As a team player and dedicated member to SMS, I feel I'd be the perfect candidate! After all... SMS seems to come before my degree most days... oops! But it's so worth it! Greetings crew, Jack here hoping that you would all permit me as the next Captain of this ragtag group and vote for me as the next President of SMS.

I have spent 3 years aboard the good ship SMS and would love to use this wealth of experience to take the helm and ensure smooth sailing for another year.

In my previous role as one of the Social Secretaries I have demonstrated and developed my organisational skills as well as demonstrating my ability to work as part of a leadership team.

Finally, having spent a year living alongside Captain Bygraves and the rest of the exec, I have seen first hand the work that goes into the role and have a good understanding of what the role requires.

I sincerely hope you'll take me into consideration for this role and look forward to pleading my case in person.
