Hey fellow wildlings! I am running to be your treasure for 2025/26!

I have been a member of wilderness medicine for 2 years now and your social sec for the past year. In that time I have made some brilliant memories and even better friends! Some personal highlights include Teaching CPR in the Dales, being a patient with an amputated arm in Snowdonia, and coming 3rd at national wild trials this year! I even loved descending down Snowdon in the lashing rain, getting to make new friends and catch up with old! I have personally gained a lot from wilderness and I hope you give me the opportunity to carry on giving back to the society this year as treasurer!

I believe I would be the perfect fit for treasurer. In the past I did a brilliant job balancing the books as treasurer for cycling where I started using our membership fees to buy equipment for the club and running subsidised socials & trips. Despite the increase in spending, I left the position with a healthy account > £1500. As a PhD student, I also have experience in applying for and managing money from grants. If elected treasure of Wilderness Medicine I would apply for grants to expand the equipment we have available for scenarios so we engage in even more exciting simulations and to continue with our recent competition successes by training in a wider range of scenarios!

I have really enjoyed being on committee this year and I hope you give me the opportunity to carry on making this the fun, friendly society we all love!
