My name is Umer Khan, and I am running for External Officer of the Pakistani Society. With experience as a Lead Student Representative and Get Interested Ambassador at Leeds International Study Centre, as well as a Cadet in the Pakistan Army, I have developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. In my current role as a Business Development Manager at SI-UK Pakistan, I excel in building relationships and strategic networking, making me well-suited for this role. I am passionate about promoting inclusivity, improvement, and investment, with a commitment to ensuring that every member feels valued, their voices are heard, and resources are invested to enhance our university experience. I am dedicated to representing the Pakistani Society on a larger scale, advocating for collaborations, and driving meaningful change.

Khush-aamdeed, Salaam, hi guys! My name is Aaminah and I'm currently in my first year of studies at UoL.
Having been born and raised in Mini Pakistan (aka. Bradford) to 2nd generation British Pakistanis, I know what it is to be proud of my culture. I feel as though I am suited to this role because- in typical Pakistani fashion- I greatly enjoy communicating with others, and I would enthusiastically relish the opportunity to network and collaborate on a wider scale.
Focused to work hard, I have many ideas for Paksoc's future. I am determined to utilise my various skills to provide my best capabilities as External Officer, and I look forward to building and expanding our relationships with other societies, making for a more enjoyable Paksoc experience for all involved.
