Hello CompSoc! I am a first year CS student running to be a social media officer for CompSoc. From gaming events such as the Mario Kart tournament, to social events such as Fridge to Fridge, I have loved being part of CompSoc during my first year at Leeds. Becoming a bigger part of the society would mean that I use my skills in producing engaging content and advertisements to further the brand of CompSoc more than ever before, building on the achievements of this year’s committee to make CompSoc even more successful.

Hi, I'm Abbie! I'm a second year CS student running for the role of Social Media Officer. I aim to enhance the work done for the social media accounts from this year, delivering frequent information on events, socials and opportunities relevant to the society- as well as some fun bits and bobs, of course.

Hello everyone, my name is Mark and I'm excited to be running for the position of social media secretary for CompSoc. I see the social media secretary position as a chance for everyone to project their voice and opinion so that they can be heard by the university and beyond. I want to work to create a digital space where every member is heard and to keep our students informed on new events and opportunities as well as create a vibrant online community where ideas can be freely exchanged and flourish.
I'm committed to making changes to ensure that our social media presence reflects the inclusivity of our CS community. Everyone's voice deserves to be heard and I will work to ensure that our online platform is reflective of this principle.
Last year, I acted as social secretary for the surf society and was tasked with promoting & organising events and encouraging enthusiasm within the surfing community. In that year, I learned how to leverage social media to effectively connect with members and foster a sense of belonging. My experience has taught me the importance of adaptability and creativity, and I have since developed a knack of finding solutions under unpredictable circumstances.
I firmly believe that these experiences have equipped me with the skills and mindset necessary to excel in this role as your social media secretary and hopefully with your support, I am confident that together we can make a lasting impact and elevate our presence on social media.

We have barely scratched the surface of what CompSoc can do with Social Media. I'm Diya Anegundi, a first year computer science and maths student, and I want to change that.
