Hi I’m Molly. I have been part of Physoc for 2 years and you might know me from being the social sec this year. Through this I have experience being on committee so have a good understanding of how the society works and how to apply for grants from both the union and external places.
I have also seen the main places where Physoc has not used the money most sensibly so would work towards saving and reducing spending money on unnecessary things. This money can be invested into giving Physoc more of a presence by having more merch and investing more in sober events and trips to see physics sights nearby. This would also increase the number of members which is important as Physoc is for everyone.
This year I have worked well with the other members of committee, especially Danny in organising all the fun events we have had. I have also communicated with external organisations such as Revs and fresh2death and hopefully next year will be able to liaise with more new people who will give us money!!!
