Hi, my name is Charlotte and this is my second year being a part of trampolining. I would really love to be your social media sec for next year, not only for the mini mic and because I am ragingly chronically online, but also because I think that the social media of the society plays such an important role in making it feel welcoming to new joiners before the year starts and during freshers, as well as informing everyone of what is going on so that they can get involved in training, events and socials. I think I would be good for this role because I am an organised person (as my very type B house has made me realise - love them really) and would be able to take responsibility for and stay on top of the Instagram and TikTok. As I said, I am very chronically online, much to my uni works despair, meaning that I am usually up to date with the latest trends so could make loads of funny TikToks, not only to gain traction for the society but also to capture memories that everyone can look back on. Speaking of funny memories, I think that a potential new idea that I could bring in, which a lot of other societies have and love, is an account either on Instagram or Facebook where photo dumps and debriefs of socials and comps get posted, so that everyone feels up to date with the crazy antics that tramps love to get up to. So to round off I feel that I will be able to continue Amber’s legacy of having the best social media captions and ideas, if she lets me have the mini mic (sorry)! Thank you :)

Hellooo, my name is Maddie and this is my first year at the club as a first year student however I’ve been in and out of trampolining since I was 12 (Covid and all that). I am interested in this position because I am very well known between my friends for having a lot of online knowledge and pop culture references in my back pocket. This role is also relevant to my current course at uni - that being Film, Photography & Media; therefore I am required as part of my course to keep up to date with a lot of elements that are a part of media management. I took GCSE Art so (if you know you know) I have a lot of resilience it the making of my work and anything that would go onto the social media of the club. I also studied Photography and Media as A Levels so I’ve learned my way around photoshop and editing. I’ve had some experience with Canva which is already used by the club but I also love ProCreate (me being a silly little iPad kid - I will die on that hill with my apple pencil). I enjoy being on social media a lil bit too much - however, this role will give me an opportunity to be more creative with it by giving me a level of responsibility and having fun while doing it. I have quite a few cameras in my collection I could bring to the table to get some beautiful shots of the tramps. I would: expand the tiktok page (aiming to be a tiktok viral sensation), entice freshers into joining our cult and keep everyone up to date with info about anything and everything to do with the club, including details about socials. I would love to use my role as social media secretary as a way of capturing all the memories of the year (feral nights out) and everyone’s celebrations from comps.
