I have been part of St John Ambulance for over 10 years, during this time I have developed a love for acute medicine and teaching the importance of First Aid to others. I have been secretary of this committee for 2 years, allowing me to develop a variety of skills. It has given me experience in leadership and communication, as I run and organise regular committee meetings and deal with any disagreements among members. I have also developed skills in organising events for large groups of people, with our GIAG drawing groups of 50 students.

I volunteer to teach weekly First Aid to St John Badgers who are aged 4-15. I will use the experience to encourage more outreach to local schools as a society. As president, I will also organise more collaborations using my connections as committee members of other societies.
