Hi lovely laxers, I thought I’d kick off applications and nominate myself for 💚CHARITY, ALUMNI AND SOCIAL MEDIA SEC💚

Since my fresher days, many of the club have referred to me as Nepo Baby 👶 After following in my sisters footsteps as B&D Captain this year (her role two years prior), it would be wrong of me not to put myself forward for her current role…

Although it’ll be big boots to fill, I’m confident in my social media abilities as someone who is constantly glued to their phone, rest assured I’ll never ghost anyone in the dms (apart from Beckett maybe) 👻 Taking on this position, I also intend to continue our flourishing TikTok account, creating unique content which showcases us as a club 😜🎵(quick plug @leedslax_)

I may not be a top lax player, but I do know popworld, pints, |T|errace, UOLMLC, unwashed lax fleece, and jager bombs. 🍺

I also here by vow to plan the greatest lax ball and charity raffle ever before… I know this year will be hard to beat the amazing events put on by Lara and my good friend Oz. Well, that would be if Headingley Stadium have us back…Lucy Evans🙊

I am also passionate about UOLWLC having a close relationship with UOLMLC (not like that Sadie Zenios). Working with the boys will be a great opportunity to fundraiser for charities close to both our hearts. As a club I feel we have a responsibility to raise funds for charities that are important to us, especially ones that have helped many of us in the club 💚

What I love about our club is the inclusivity and welcoming atmosphere. As the only current committee member not on a BUCS team, I have always felt valued as a B&D member, and I believe our social members should do too. I love chatting to everyone at socials (I never miss one because why would I) and if you’ve chatted to me at the bar I’ve probably bought you a jäger LOL 🥃

Overall, I really do bleed green. I love this club, I have made best friends over the last two years, and I actually can play lacrosse believe it or not🤪
