She’s 100% SOCIAL and 100% SECxy…she’s 100% Niamh Griffin ✨

(If you didn’t catch 🥍 that, I’m running for SOCIAL SEC 😏).

As the mere caterpillar blossoms into a butterfly 🦋, and the tadpole into a frog 🐸 , it ought to be the natural order for the Silliest Fresh (voted by you) to develop into your Social Sec.

Determined, dedicated, and devoted - 3️⃣ words I would use to describe my efforts towards socials, and with having only missed 1 since the start of uni, it is clear just how much I love chopping pints, pissing behind bins in Hyde Park, and being screamed at by seniors. My attendance to my lectures does not nearly reflect my attendance to socials ❌📚and I can assure you that all the hard work I will not be putting into my Law degree, I will be putting towards planning the best nights of the week 🗓️.

I do seem to be somewhat of a target 🎯 at socials, as I recall examples such as:
- Having to do a ‘talent’ on the stage for the Valentine’s Day social 💕.
- Being force fed goon through a funnel 🍷.
- Shoeys for INVALID reasons (acc don’t hate the feeling of a soggy shoe).

However, I would say that my lack of ability to say ‘no’ does leave me partly at fault 😔 (I love it really).
I hope you can understand from just these few examples how involved I get into socials…which, funnily enough, is a key characteristic for someone running for Social Sec 😱.

On a serious note, I absolutely love 💕 this club and have had the most fun year with all you lot.
I have SO many ideas of fun, original themes for the upcoming social season, so vote for me to find out what could be in store for you 😉.

Although it will be an incredibly hard act to follow due to the AMAZING job Yas and Lucy have done, I am ready for them to pass the torch 🗽(the sours bottle in Popworld) onto me and I will ensure that the Wednesday night shenanigans and Mischief mayhem will continue to flourish 💪🍺🥍.

For those who don’t know me, I’m izzy welch. Some may know me as a FAB lax player for the 2s🥍, although you will often find me on the sidelines after a just few minutes of running🫣🏃‍♀️ ( the pint chops and jäger bombs on a Wednesday night are slowly catching up to me)

100% social and 100% mischief attendance for sem 2, what more could you ask for? My commitment to socials especially showing when I flew home early from a ski trip to make it back in time for the valentines social❤️❤️❤️ Although my attendance at rollover hasn’t been up to par, I can assure this will change when I’m made social sec ☺️

My behaviour at the lax ball does not reflect my social sec abilities, I promise ✋🏻 With freshers revenge ✏️✏️ being a success (I think) I’m ready to take on these major responsibilities every Wednesday for the most important event of the week (lax socials)💪🏻💪🏻. I feel as though my talent especially shines through when chugging boxed wine 🍷 (photo shown below)

I felt it was only right to end my initiation night in roger stevens pond🎣🏊‍♀️- following in my current social secs footsteps 🦶

I would like to channel the confidence I had as frat boy Brad 🇺🇸🦅 when taking charge of our future freshers. With this confidence, arrogance and insane abilities during beer pong🏓 I believe I will produce some BRILLIANT socials involving lots of pint chops 🍺. These future freshers will not know what’s hit them. But fear not seniors, I will ensure u will not escape the fun 🫵

I have had my fair share of fun at socials, sometimes too much fun, so it’s only fair that I pass this onto the next generation of lax gals. Despite my current broken elbow (victim of Bobbys) I will still be able to carry the weight of Yaz and Lucy’s social sec legacy. So be prepared for more CRAZY Wednesday nights and I can assure you I will make every Wednesday a #winningWednesday no matter the actual lax match results 💚💚💚💚💚💚
