I’m applying for the role of Treasurer as I’m keen to become more involved in a specialty that I’m strongly considering as a future career. I’m currently a 4th-year medical student going into my final year.

Alongside my studies, I’ve been actively involved in research and presentations. I’ve also held a number of committee positions in another university society, including Tour Secretary, Sponsorship Secretary, Fixture Secretary, and Stash Secretary. Through these roles, I’ve gained experience managing budgets, working with sponsors, organising events, and helping committees run effectively.

As Treasurer, I would aim to be organised, approachable, and responsible in managing the society’s finances. I’d be keen to help secure sponsorship opportunities, ensure events remain affordable and accessible for students, and support the committee in delivering valuable teaching, skills, and networking events throughout the year.
