Hello Chicas! I’m Phoebe :), and I’d love to be your next Treasurer for luuSTREET!!!

I’ve got a solid handle on finances and budgeting, and I’m super organised when it comes to keeping track of money. Whether it’s booking studios, paying choreographers, or planning events, I’ll make sure we stay on budget without sacrificing our peace.
I’m confident using spreadsheets and financial tools to keep everything clear and transparent, and I’ll always keep the committee in the loop with regular updates. I’m also someone who’s happy to negotiate and find creative ways to stretch our funds — so we can bring in amazing choreographers without breaking the bank.
Most importantly, I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always ready to help the society run smoothly behind the scenes. I’d love the chance to support the group in this role, and keep things moving, both financially and on the dance floor!

Hi, my name is Danai Mandangu and I’m running to be LUU Street’s Treasurer for next year. As someone who just came to Leeds this year, being part of Street and competing has truly made my first-year experience, and by joining the committee next year, I hope to help other students feel the same way.

I'm an Accounting and Finance student, so I already have sufficient financial knowledge, especially around tracking and budgeting money. During sixth form, I was part of the Cultural Committee, where I secured sponsors for events — so I’m confident in reaching out to potential sponsors effectively. I'm also a strong team player and work well in collaborative settings like committee; I'm always ready to contribute ideas to help make LUU Street even better.

Overall, I genuinely care about helping LUU Street thrive and would love the opportunity to contribute as Treasurer. I hope I can earn your vote!
