This year's AGM will see elections for all core and non-core committee positions for the next academic year. 

All Student Members of the society are eligible to stand for each role. (Participant Members are not eligible.)

The Core Positions needed for the society to run are as follows:

• President: Basically in charge of any major decisions concerning the society (collabs, discord/instagram changes, deciding on which socials to run etc.) as well as being the main ambassador for the Society
• Secretary: Essentially the president's sanity checker, and in charge of contacting the union about events, risk assessments and room bookings, as well as membership records
• Treasurer: the Banker of the group, making sure any events/socials you'd like to run are financially possible with the Napsoc budget, also in charge of managing said budget for fundraising events and the like 

The Non-Core Positions, which are not mandatory but are still very useful to have, are as follows:

• Competition Secretary: in charge of organising competitive events, such as Pokemon Showdown Tournaments like the Draft, as well as organising competitive events between us and the other societies
• Social Secretary: The main point of contact for information regarding socials and social events, as well as the main person to meet people ahead of socials to guide/show newcomers to the socials! Also can be in charge of the social media presence (managing the instagram account, moderating the discord etc.)
• Equality and Wellbeing Officer: The main contact for information regarding wellbeing and ensuring everyone in the society feels welcome and able to enjoy the socials, as well as making sure everone is safe while in the society!
