Hi, I’m Iva (she/her), I’m a first year and current volunteer and I’m really excited to be running to be the UML’s treasurer this year! I’ve already gotten stuck in a lot here - if you’ve seen me in the UML, you’ve probably seen me labelling and sorting the CDs almost every week, and helping keep track of any issues, so you can count on me to organise and monitor our funds responsibly. I’m a computer science student, which means I work with numbers all the time, and I’m always willing to learn new things and come up to speed with anything I don’t already know to be able to do justice to the role. I do have some ideas about what kind of things to get for the library that I'm quite excited about, but I will also make sure to consult people all over the community to make improving the UML a joint effort! The UML has already played such a huge part in my first year here at Leeds, and I want to help make it as great as it can be next year. I hope you’ll have me as your treasurer :)

Hi! My name is Vishnu and I am nominating myself for the role of treasurer because I believe I would be a capable fit, not only do I have mathematical literacy and experience working with numbers, but I can work well in a team and have experience in taking initiative and responsibility. I will help UML make the most of the money we have, as well as expanding options for more varied streams of income!
