Hi everyone! I’m Will and I want to be your Pantomime Treasurer for 2022/23 year.

About me:
I am a 3rd year Theatre & Performance with Enterprise student and will be studying for my MSc in Management next year. I have been a member of Pantomime society for 2 years now performing in the radio play, “Radio Panto!” as the Dame in 2020. More recently, I performed in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ in this years Christmas Pantomime playing the role of Gregory. This is on top of 15 years of performance experience so it’s fair to say that I have a passion for taking part in performances.

Why do I want the role of Treasurer?

Although I have been in the society for a few years now, I have not been involved in any of the production teams or in a committee position beforehand. Personally, I would love to gain the experience of working together with other members of committee to keep the society running smoothly after such a positive year for the society during the 2021/22 academic year.

What can I bring to the role of Treasurer?

Given that this position requires a sound understanding of budgeting and a competence in the organisation of finance I believe that my experiences of working both during my Business Studies A-Level and my enterprise modules on my course have given me an apt understanding of how to manage finances and I will relish the opportunity to be given the responsibility.
