Hi, I’m Ehi, and I’m excited to be running for the role of Music Secretary for the coming year! I am a fourth-year medical student and have been a member of the music group for the last three years. I find that music during the Mass brings us closer to God, as we sing out in love, prayer and praise. “To sing is to pray twice,” as Saint Augustine of Hippo said.

I have experience being on multiple committees, and this year I have had the pleasure of being the musical director of the Leeds Amateur Medics Musical and Performance Society Choir (LAMMPS Choir). I hope to bring some of the skills in understanding and guiding music to the Mass this coming year. I am also very keen to introduce hymns from other cultures. I myself am currently a member of the African & Caribbean Chaplaincy Choir here in Leeds!

I hope to share my joy of singing with all of you, as we give our hearts to the Lord.

I am Sebastian, a first year undergraduate student studying Law at the University of Leeds.
As you may know, I have had the privilege of providing the accompaniments to some of the Masses this year on the organ at the Leeds Universities Chaplaincy. I have been playing the organ for more than 2 years and I have nearly 12 years of musical experience.
It would be an honour to continue providing the music for the Chaplaincy as the Catholic Society's Music Secretary!
