Hi, I’m Alex the event’s secretary you never knew you had! I am going into 3rd year studying Arabic and International Relations next year. After a fun (albeit injury/covid affected) 1st year involved in XC I decided last year to apply for the role of events secretary however, Covid got temporarily put on hold and as a result I ended up unexpectedly spending this year in Morocco on my year abroad! Despite having a great year, there has definitely been an XC shaped hole in my experience so I’m looking forward to getting back involved in Doss again; and what better way to do that than being part of the committee:) If voted into the role I wish to deliver more great events next year including another IOM trip, BUCS and many beer racing opportunities!
