I am applying for this position because admin/organizational work is something that I want to be doing in my career, and this position seems like a great opportunity. I am definitely going to get transferable skills from this role like communication, organizing stuff, etc. I have experience in organizing and facilitating events in various leadership roles and currently, I am the president of Residence life’s accommodation and had organized events like Residence’s fiesta. As Secretary, I would also like to involve the members of the society more in the decision making. 
Besides, I have a very keen interest in crypto and have been reading about it for quite a while now and would love to organize events that would benefit everyone and of course, I love to meet new people. My name is Giridesh, and I'd like to introduce myself. I am currently a first-year student studying Electronic and Electrical Engineering. I'm a Crypto Youtuber and a Blockchain enthusiast. I have prior experience organising crypto-related events, since I have been doing it for my Youtube audience on a weekly basis. I'd like to serve as the Crypto and Blockchain Society's secretary. Unlike last year, when there was little interaction, I intend to provide the members with a variety of exciting activities and informative sessions this year.
