Greetings to the members of the Leeds African Caribbean Society,

I, Oluwanifemi Agbede am honoured to announce my candidacy for the position of Vice President. With a deep-rooted passion for our community and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and vibrant society, I am eager to contribute to ACS’s continued success and growth.

As your Vice president pledge to prioritize the following attributes:
1. To support the President in overseeing and organizing the running of the African Caribbean Society. I understand the importance of effective coordination and communication within our committee to ensure that our events and initiatives are accomplished.

2. Enhanced Socials and Activities: Diversity is our strength, and I am dedicated to introducing a diverse range of socials and activities that cater to the varied interests of our members. Whether it's cultural celebrations or educational workshops, I will work to ensure that our events reflect the richness and diversity of our community.


3. One of my primary roles will be to serve as the understudy for the President, stepping in when needed and ensuring continuity in leadership. I am prepared to learn from our President's experience and provide unwavering support to uphold the vision and mission of our society.

4. Welcoming Atmosphere: Building a welcoming and inclusive space is paramount to the success of our society. I will work closely with the committee team and members to implement initiatives that promote inclusivity, respect, and understanding. Through open communication and collaboration, we will cultivate an environment where every member feels respected, supported, and empowered to be their authentic selves.

Collaboration and innovation are key to our success, and I am committed to working closely with the President to develop strategies and initiatives that resonate with our members and promote cultural awareness and celebration.
