Hey, my name is Grace Allen I'm a current 2nd year in the 09/22 cohort studying adult nursing.
I would like to be president because i would like to help come up with new ideas and create a safe and fun place for student nurses to meet up.

My name is a Ella, and I am excited to be running for President of our Nursing Society.

Our society plays a crucial role in supporting and empowering nursing students. i will bring passion and dedication to ensure that the society stays up and running and is the best it could be.

Hi My name is Harriet Dean, and i would like to nominate myself for the role of President in the Leeds University Nursing Society!
I am currently in my 2nd year of Children’s Nursing and going into my 3rd year this September!
I have been a School of Healthcare Ambassador since year 1 and I would love to be a part of the Leeds University Nursing Society as President this year!
I would love to continue from what our previous committee started, to make the society a social, safe and fun place for all student nurses.
I am very open to new ideas and initiatives to help support the society and other charities.
I am keen to get involved, wherever I’m needed. I am a very organised person and enjoy being a part of a team!
Being supportive is very important to me and I will always be a listening ear for any worries you might have.
I'm happy to lead, however, I am a very big advocate for empowerment and for other people to take the lead on events, meetings and fundraisers.
I really hope you support me in my application as President. I am really excited about the challenges and fun times ahead!

Coming to the end of first year adult nursing and have really enjoyed the community that nursing has too offer.

I enjoy my role as a course rep and helping my cohort and specific group get what they need and help change the course for the future.

To do this for the nursing society as a whole would be an amazing opportunity and i enjoy organising and planning events, and have taken part in organising the SOH award ceremony this year which was a great honour!

I am also a mature student, I find this has helped me be more grounded and build a good relationship with staff. I am able to speak up for others and won't shy away if anybody comes too me with issues they need addressing.

The society needs too continue as nursing is such a strong network of amazing people, we need to keep bringing us all together
