Key duties:

➢ be responsible for the coaching of the club, with an emphasis on training the more experienced members of the club (e.g. Pod 1 and Pod 2). 
➢ support the Development Captains in running training sessions for new players. 
➢ select outdoors BUCS squads, indoor BUCS squads and squads for other non-BUCS events 
➢ captain the 1stoutdoor BUCS teams, including managing the necessary admin (e.g. registering, rostering, arranging fixtures, submitting scores) 
➢ request transport and accommodation bookings from the Secretary with sufficient details and notice. 

The Captains collectively:

➢ Decide on overall training and coaching structure 
➢ Decide on on-pitch concepts (e.g. structures) to be played 
➢ Work together to deliver quality coaching to players of all abilities
➢ Provide feedback to players 
➢ Support players to find development and playing opportunities outside of Leeds University Ultimate – e.g. local club teams, GB programme. 
 (Also, provisionally: Select a Spirit Coordinator from the roster of all teams playing in BUCS and UKU events, and any others which merit this.)
