Hey everyone! My name is Ella, and I am currently a third year hoping to intercalate in the Sports and Exercise Medicine MSc next year.

For the past three years, I have been part of the MSRC committee acting as first, second, and third year rep. Through these roles I worked alongside fellow student reps to gather feedback and attend meetings with the year staff and module leads to make sure our concerns and questions are raised and appropriately acted on. This means I have the knowledge, experience and key contacts to be able to raise feedback with the right people as efficiently as possible.

Moving forward, I am still passionate about ensuring this is continued to be done. Intercalating can be a big step away from the Medicine course where we are leaving our friends and routine to join other students from different years, courses, and even different Universities! I understand this can be scary and challenging, and I am eager to act as an approachable presence within this new group whom you can raise feedback and concerns with. I want to help build this new community where we can all support one another in these potentially tricky yet exciting times to make certain our intercalation year is the best and most fulfilling it can be!
