“Go for Joe!"
Hi, I’m Joe! I’m originally from Tokyo and moved here when I was six. Now, as a second-year Mechanical Engineering student, I’m excited to run for Sports Secretary of the Japanese Society!
Sports have always been a huge part of my life—I’ve played football, rugby, cricket, tennis, and I’m currently involved in Volleyball and Ju-Jitsu. I’ve even coached cricket, so I know what it takes to organise and lead great sporting activities. I want to bring that same energy to the Japanese society by creating fun sports socials and tournaments, collaborating with other societies for big inter-society events, and setting up Japan Society teams to compete in the Universities social leagues.
As a super social and energetic person, I’ll make sure that there’s no shortage of sporting events and opportunities to get involved. Most importantly, I’ll listen to what you guys want—whether it’s a casual kickabout, a new sports team, or a fun competition, I’ll make it happen!
So, if you want exciting sports, great socials, and an active community - go for Joe!
こんにちは、ジョウです！もともと東京出身で、6歳のときにこちらに引っ越してきました。現在、機械工学科の2年生で、ジャパニーズソサエティのスポーツ幹事に立候補できることを嬉しく思っています！
スポーツは常に私の人生の大きな一部でした。サッカー、ラグビー、クリケット、テニスをプレーし、現在はバレーボールと柔術に取り組んでいます。また、クリケットのコーチ経験もあるため、楽しいスポーツ活動を企画・運営するために必要なことを理解しています。私は、このエネルギーをジャパニーズソサエティにも活かし、楽しいスポーツ交流会やトーナメントを企画し、他の団体と協力して大規模なイベントを開催し、大学の社交リーグで競うジャパニーズソサエティチームを立ち上げることを目指します。
私はとても社交的でエネルギッシュなので、スポーツイベントや交流の機会を絶やさないようにします。そして、何よりも皆さんの声を大切にします。カジュアルな試合、新しいスポーツチーム、楽しい競技会など、どんなアイデアも実現できるよう全力で取り組みます！
