Hello, i’m Hamna, a first year student, studying Human Resource Management! Being new to university and adapting to a new environment, new city and new friends can be quite daunting but as a freshers officer (whose from Leeds) i’m determined to ensure everyone feels welcomed, safe and overall receive a holistic student experience within the Pakistani society. Regardless if you live in accommodation or commute, i’m here to make sure everyone feels a piece of home with them and events go to planned! I‘m an ambitious individual who has experience operating in organisations which require teamwork, creativity & event planning which has helped me acquire skills such as responsibility, communication and interpersonal awareness which i’m actively going to demonstrate being part of the committee, to ensure everyone (especially first years) on the society has a great time at Leeds University. I have it in my best interest to ensure all members are satisfied with events and are all inclusive to different interests/hobbies across the people of the Pakistani society! Bringing positivity, enlightening experiences & a creative mindset to strive for the best experiences for all members in the society!
