This year I’d love join forces with Jenni to captain the 3rd team for their first year in BUCS!! After working so hard to get the 3s into the league this year, I would love to see the team through their first season in my last year in leeds (I promise) 🤪

Over the past 2 years, I’ve been social sec, pres, umpire so this seems the natural progression so I can tick EVERY area of committee off the list tehe. Seriously though, I’m diligent and hardworking and will make sure that our first season will not only be successful, but also fun and less like our recent trip to play Notts 6s….. 🤣

I’ve been playing for the 2s (somehow) for the past 2 years so have lots of great ideas for sessions. I am also a level 2 lax umpire so have observed A LOT of lacrosse so know what works well and have plenty of opportunities to steal new set plays, drills and training opportunities from other teams. 👀

Overall, lax is genuinely my only solid personality trait so I would cherish the opportunity to continue my character development with the club & see the team into their inaugural season 💪🏼🫶🏼

Hi everyone!
I’m Jenni and I’m running for 3rd team captain alongside Nancie!

For those who don’t know who I am, I am an incredibly dedicated member of the 3s, on both the pitch and the Popworld dance floor🕺

I joined lacrosse in my 1st year as a complete beginner and now I’m going into my 3rd year. Despite my scary lack of lacrosse ability, this year I joined the 3s for some more match time and to improve my skills- and I’ve loved it! I turned up to all the trainings and matches (well, the ones that went ahead🥲), so I would be the perfect person to encourage some of the freshers to do the same!

I am a super organised person and who loves to motivate a team. I want to bring positivity, togetherness and fun to the 3s, and hopefully encourage a high turnout at weetwood (even in the freezing cold)! Also, even in 3rd year, I will always find a way to make to a Wednesday night social💚💚

I know this is a new position but who better than this years most committed 3rd team player to lead the 3s to victory in BUCS next year!
