President

HI! I'm Rachael, I'm a second year student adult nurse here at Leeds university, and I'm running to be the president of our nursing society! Outside of being a student nurse, my interests include: baking, taking film photos, collecting way too many plants for my room, reading and exploring Leeds. I'd love to be president of our nursing society as I'm organised, enthusiastic and a team player. I'm passionate about making sure that the society is helpful, organised and most of all - fun! I'm happy to help any members of the society with anything, and am always open to new ideas that would improve our society. I'd like to organise various things in the society alongside the other committee members, including: well being events, volunteering projects, themed events (such as quiz nights etc), Q&A advice sessions, collaboration with other societies within the school of healthcare, socials, educational events, fundraising events, the nursing society ball, and creating a fun and welcoming environment for all years and branches of nursing.
