Hi! My name is Sarah Chester, I’m an adult nursing student in 2nd year and feel I would fit the role of well-being officer perfectly. I love going out and having fun as much as I like a chilled night in. I think anyone doing a healthcare degree would agree that is can be incredibly mentally challenging at times, but it is incredibly comforting to know that others feel the same, I want those to know that there is always someone to talk to and who better then someone who loves a good chat :)) at times when it feels like the mental well-being of students isn’t at upmost importance, I want to make sure that fellow students feel heard and that they are not alone, whether that is through a night out or a good rant about the bad sides of this degree.

PSA: I have incredibly struggled throughout this degree program, and have wanted to drop out many times but have found talking to others who feel the same has given me motivation to carry on as I know this is something I want to do and am capable of doing.
