- Organising and announcing regular social events suitable for all members of the society, with the aim of promoting positive morale, member integration and friendship
- Encouraging inter-performance society involvement by liaising with other LUU societies to organise joint social and performance events
- Working with the Events Secretary to organise fundraising events and source and maintain sponsorship deals with local bars and pubs
- Encouraging that the society’s “Social Code of Conduct” is distributed to members and that its guidelines are followed when the society is engaging in public social activities
- Undertaking appropriate welfare training prior to the start of the academic year along with the Core Officers of the committee
