I'm Poppy, a first year studying English Lit with Creative Writing and I've been a volunteer at the UML since October last year. I'd love to be involved with events for the UML to create a fun and safe space for people that like music, to talk about music! One of the most popular socials with this society are the gigs which everyone enjoys and I'd love to put more on, as well as doing smaller/ more intimate socials such as film nights, more art-based stuff, as well as listening sessions for new albums :) I think this society is such a great thing to be involved with, especially if you're obsessed with physical media.

I'm Dillon Bratley, I'm a first year student and have been a volunteer for UML for the last semester, and I am putting myself forward to be your new events manager.
In my opinion, UML has had the greatest events of any society I've been involved in, both in terms of frequency and the range of events arranged. I hope to carry on this standard next year, putting on events for everyone and listening openly to any suggestions.
Since I was about 14, I've had experience in organising local gigs and working closely alongside promoters to ensure everything runs smoothly, which will ensure upholding the high standard that I've already seen.
