Hi I'm Oliver. I'm a History & Economics student going into my final year after completing an industrial placement year.

I believe I'd be a good fit for Treasurer because I'm very comfortable with numbers and budgeting, both through the Economics side of my degree and also my work experience in financial services which has been largely focused on accounting. I enjoy handling spreadsheets and I'd be more than happy to work in the background to keep track of the society's finances.

In terms of plans for the role, I would like to ensure that everyone in the committee is fully aligned on finances so that budgets can be coordinated and no money is wasted. I'd also like to provide direct support in the planning process of larger events/socials to ensure cost-effectiveness, allowing us to have more regular events as a result.
