I’m Kelsey, a final year BA Education student, hoping to be your SASHA Secretary 2026/27. I have been an active member of SASHA over the past year - you may have seen me around at sip and socials, and I also presented as part of a SASHA panel on Union Activism at this year’s World Unite Festival.

In terms of past LUU work, I have been part of the Liberation Student Committee for 2 years (soon to be 3 years!) so I’m well versed in society admin and working with the union, so I could offer a great deal of support to the new committee as Secretary.

From September, I will also be working as the Gender Engagement Leader at LUU, which is relevant to a lot of the work SASHA does and I will push forward the work of the society to LUU engagement leaders and execs to make sure SASHA is as successful as can be!

For the future of SASHA, a priority of mine would be to continue upholding SASHA accreditation for LUU groups. The current committee have worked so hard on such a great project, it’s important to me that this is carried on.
