Hey! I’m Erin (she/they), I’ve just started my Masters at Leeds. Throughout my undergraduate degree I have taken an active role in many facets of activism, to mention a few;
- I sat on the Sheffield Students’ Union Council for two years, as LGBT Councillor and then as Trans+ Councillor.
- I was involved in the Rent Strike at Sheffield during my first year.
- I have been involved in direct action, for the climate, for Arms Off Campus, for Palestine, and in solidarity with striking lecturers.

Although I’ve only been a student in Leeds for a month, I have already soent many a lunch time in coffee hour and got to know several members of the society and committee. I understand the necessity in a Welfare Officer listening and ensuring the access of everyone to all of the events - welfare isn’t just a passive role, it’s an active one that must seek to constantly evolve and involve you all, every space must be welcoming to every one of you!

Picture is out of date I now have the hair I did when I was 14. I was a welfare officer from November 2022-23, and I was Chair of the society directly after until the end of the 23/24 academic year. Please vote for me I promise I'm competent :)
