Hi I'm Abby and I'm running to be your secretary for the 22/23 season! I'm currently a second year medic and have been on celtics for one year as a base and tumbler on gryphons. Coming to university I'd never cheered before but had competed in gymnastics and dance and decided that I wanted to give cheer a go. Joining celtics was possibly one of the best things I've ever done, the celtics family is something that I feel so lucky to be a part of and I'd love the opportunity to give back to the society that has made me feel so welcome. As the secretary it'd be my job to ensure that everything throughout the year from training to competitions ran smoothly. I've been described as a bubbly and approachable person who is extremely organised and meticulous when it comes to planning. As a bit of a perfectionist, I feel I'd be well suited to the role of secretary as I'm very particular and like to make sure that everything I do is to the highest standard and completed on schedule. I cannot wait to see what the next season holds for us and I hope you choose me to be secretary to ensure everything runs smoothly so we can have the best season yet! Celtic love, Abby x

Hi everyone! I’m Kirsten and I would like to be your secretary next year! I am a third-year psychology student and I have been on Celtics for 3 years now and sadly this will be my last year. Many people describe me as a welcoming, approachable and an understanding person, which is essential to the role as I will be the go-to person for any cheer-related event/admin questions. I am a very organised individual with great time-management skills, and I am able to meet deadlines ensuring everything is done ahead of time. I feel I have built relationships with all teams, both freshers and returners, which is so important in such a big society! This should help encourage anyone to ask any queries. This past year I have had the joy of being your pom sec, which allowed me cheer-related experience with admin related tasks like sending emails, booking training spaces, sorting pom music, organizing transport to competitions, helping Leah organise Christie cup and planning the pom GIAG all whilst working alongside our current secretary.

By being your Secretary I will work closely with and support both the pom and match sec to ensure your next season of Celtics runs as smoothly as possible!!

I have loved every minute of being a part of Celtics, as I have felt a sense of belonging and have loved the teamwork we have all shared making the uni experience even greater. Celtics really helped integrate me into university life and made me feel a part of something which I would love to give back to all of our members!!
