I’d be a great Modern Dance rep because I’m organised, reliable, and good at keeping track of the little admin things that make everything run smoothly. I'm someone who won’t forget, won’t leave things last‑minute, and communicate clearly.

Being Social Sec this year has already given me loads of experience with behind‑the‑scenes organisation. I’ve had to coordinate information, keep people updated, and deal with unexpected changes without letting anything fall apart. Staying on top of tasks, managing group communication, and how to keep things fair and stress‑free for everyone involved.

I’m also approachable and easy to talk to, which matters when people need to ask about allocations or any issues they have. If I’m rep, I’ll make sure everything is handled properly, fairly, and with as little stress as possible so everyone can just focus on enjoying dance.

my main aim is to post the rehearsal vids on the whatsapp dance chats, making them super easy to find!

Hey everyone!! I’m Mary and I’d love to be your Class Rep next year!

Classes are an essential part of the enjoyment we get from modern, and I would be honoured to have the chance to contribute with its planning and support next year. I hope to contribute to creating a welcoming, knowledgeable, and enjoyable environment for everyone, whether it be during weekly classes or rehearsals.

I'm really sociable and well-organised, and I enjoy making things go smoothly in the background. I have a very well-organised Google calendar, so much that it can occasionally be terrifying to others. If elected, my main goal would be to make class communications as transparent and clear as possible so that everyone is aware of what's going on and feels included. Since I am aware of how hectic university life can be, I believe that being well-organised and providing clear updates is crucial.

Helping to establish a welcoming and encouraging environment in classes where everyone feels at ease, regardless of experience or skill level, is something I would like to prioritise. We should all be able to look forward to dancing every week, and I'd love to contribute to making classes enjoyable, friendly, and motivating for everyone.

Throughout the year, I would also try to be personable and accessible to anyone with queries, worries, or suggestions. I would always try my hardest to assist wherever I could, whether it was in encouraging new members or simply making sure everyone felt connected.

Overall, I would love the opportunity to contribute to the welcoming environment that makes the society so unique while helping to maintain organized, enjoyable, and inclusive classes.
