here is what I would do as Social Media Sec...
- fun interactive stuff on the account!
 votes on themes for albums, such as: best cover art, 27 club, concept albums, tumblr vibes, flops that deserved better, etc
- themed playlists with song recs from members
- cool photography for the socials! disposables, polaroids and digicam photos!
- making sure people are always fully updated on all social plattorms for socials, as well as non-society events and gigs, and can come to us for anything music related
- as a marketing student you can expect me to promote this society like crazy, I will be recruiting new members as if we are planning an invasion


I am self taught and started off doing photo edits, and developed that into mainly video editing using softwares such as After Effects and Final Cut Pro (media edits you'd see on tiktok) and with photo editing I utilize my free apps (ok I pay for some) as much as I can. I would also be lying if I didnt say I'd love to have the experience of being on a committee and to help arrange something that brings so many people together. also if you dont want me to shut up ask me who ive seen live 😛



fav music related memories: constantly volunteering at festivals (im a HUSTLER...and broke), queuing for hours, getting my ribs crushed at the barrier each time
least favorite: not knowing Glass Animals were playing in the union until after it was posted 💔 my blood is still boiling

HEllloooo i am Janis, 2nd year digital media major and i loooove music and graphic design haha so this role is like perfect for me !

First of all, I am already running insta accounts for student societies such as lmssoc, JUCS and AIESEC in Leeds so I am familiar with managing socials and admin work (I have even managed socials for a public broadcasting company in my previous internship!) 


Secondly, I am ALL ABOUT aesthetic and pretty designs. As a passionate creative, I am always seeking inspo and creating eye-catching, modern visual materials for various projects. Especially for music (my dream is to art direct an album :)

Lastly, I am ready to contribute to the society in creating a more accessible, fun and interactive socials account, as well as apply my knowledge in UI/ UX to managing the website, whilst also maintaining the current vintage style (I love it sm)!
