Being on Eagles this year is probably the biggest reason why I want to become Social Sec, because it showed me just how special it is when a team becomes so close it feels like one big family (#shoutout to my ea-GALS😜💖💕). As your Social Sec, my no1 goal would be to plan socials that allow you to create memories and friendships with people across all 6 teams and years and continue making Leeds Celtics feel like one big family⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If elected, I promise to put so much energy into making this year on Celtics the best it can be, so that no two socials feel the same and people keep looking forward to them every single week. I can’t wait to properly unleash my ideas at AGM just a few include ideas announcing all the socials a month in advanced on the insta and best dressed winning free chief tickets - so lock in gals xxx🍀🍀🍀🍀⭐️⭐️

Mia Cooney - Social Sec

I would love to be social sec because I am confident, outgoing, and I am never afraid to put myself out there and think outside the box. I am SUCH a people person, I can talk to anyone and I want to maintain and enhance the super fun and amazing relationships we’ve all made in Cheer and during the socials. I don’t take things too seriously, I’m not afraid of painting myself head to toe green even if no one else did, and I am Amazon Prime’s number one loyal customer. Being social sec means you understand the people around you, you listen to what they want to do at socials and make sure people’s wellbeing is a priority, it’s a time for bridges to be built between teams who otherwise would struggle to truly get to know each other. I want to create an environment that’s also balanced, making sure everyone is dressed to impress and joining in on crazy challenges and silly costumes. I understand how hard we all train and therefore it’s so important to have socials where we can unwind, destress and get absolutely mortal together. Making memories we’ll always remember (just about). As social sec, I will make sure everyone is laughing, included, and Wednesday nights will be undoubtedly the night no one will miss! Cheer truly has given me such confidence and I’ve found my passion being part of this society, and I want to give back by being your social sec xx
