Hello, I’m Hao, a first year Music Business student, and I would love the opportunity to be your LUU Street Secretary this upcoming 2024/25 academic year. Being in this incredible society and participating in this year's national competition teams has not only been an amazing experience for me but also has given me vital skills and insights which I can carry over to this role. I find every aspect of this role extremely interesting, such as organising, planning and coordinating different Street-related schedules, which I am naturally drawn to and very passionate about. I have good organisational, coordination and teamwork skills that can contribute to the society and am good at prioritising tasks all of which I have gained through various volunteering roles in the past. I believe that I would be an asset to the LUU Street Dance committee as I manage time well, and am an attentive listener, and will try to find compromises where needed. I am a super passionate enthusiastic individual who loves planning and organising events, whether they are small or large. Additionally, I am a fast replier so you can count on me to reply to DM’s and queries immediately after receiving them. Therefore, I can ensure that all members will have all their queries answered as fast as possible.

I aim to increase diversity and engagement throughout society by trying to book different choreographers for weekly open classes so our members can experience different styles of street dance. Additionally, I would continue to propose group chats to organise rehearsals and announcements and staying on top of emails, invitations and schedules. Furthermore, I would like to help other committee members/positions where required and thus, supporting and ensuring they feel comfortable as I feel like this is important in creating an effective team.

I love dance so much and LUU Street dance has given me so many amazing memories and experiences. It is indeed one of the best highlights of my first year in university and I would love to be a part of it. Being a part of the society committee would be a great privilege and if elected to this position I will always strive to do my best and facilitate the most optimal experiences throughout LUU Street Dance.
