The Isle of Man is like Wales with better roads, fewer sheep, and people who actually want to be there.

At least when the Isle of Man loses, no one pretends we were contenders. Wales builds hype like it's the World Cup, then crashes out like it's a pub team.

The Isle of Man kept its language alive as a badge of pride. Wales kept theirs alive so they could put confusing signs on roundabouts.
