Hi everyone! I’m Alex, and I’m excited to run for Kit Secretary of the Cross Country Club. As someone who’s passionate about both running and design, I’d love the chance to make sure our kit not only performs well, but also looks great and represents who we are as a club.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the pleasure of designing the Isle of Man trip t-shirt and helping with the Ekiden kit. Both projects gave me hands-on experience managing design, liaising with suppliers, and making sure kit arrived on time—and most importantly, that people were proud to wear it. I want to bring that same care, creativity, and organisation to all things kit next year.

If elected, I’ll ensure our training and racing gear is practical, affordable, and stylish. I’ll work closely with the committee and members to take feedback, try new ideas, and make sure kit orders run smoothly—no one should be left without a vest before BUCS!

I’m super keen to contribute more to the club that’s been such a big part of my uni experience. Thanks for considering me for Kit Sec!

I’m Bella, and I’m running for kit sec because I would love the opportunity to design and source kit for you all next year! I’m a very crafty person and have so many exciting ideas on what pieces of kit I’d like to see next year.

As an Isle of Man enthusiast, having attended the Easter running festival my whole childhood and competing in it throughout my teen years, I was really excited to experience the Isle as a dosser this year, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. If I’m lucky enough to be elected as kit sec, you can rest assured I will create an incredible Isle of Man T-shirt. I’d also love to create social T-shirts for other key dates in the diary, such as BUCS, Leeds/Manchester Relays, Braids and so on…

I believe I am the ideal candidate for this role, with low contact hours (studying a BA geography degree) and incredible organisational skills, both meaning I will have plenty of time to sort and order kit before races. We don’t want poor freshers having to dash about at the beginning of a race frantically trying to borrow a vest!

If you choose to vote for me for kit sec, I’ll ensure everyone’s ideas are listened to and will do everything I can to make sure cross country has kit that is fashionable and affordable, whilst of a high quality. I really hope you consider me as your future kit sec, as I’d love the opportunity to work alongside the committee to deliver the best quality kit for you all!
