The eSports & Videogames society, by necessity, has one of the most diverse and historied inventories across its peers in the General Interest category. Because of that, I actually see the treasurer playing the biggest role in helping the society grow, and giving the people already here what they want. Having acted as our Secretary for the past year, I already got to know the ins and outs of the equipment we use, how the events are run, and what the society needs as a whole, which is why you can trust that I am qualified to be our treasurer going forwards.

In the next academic year, my focuses will be on:
- Running events with meaningful awards enabled by our sponsors.
- Adding more incentives for joining our society, such as more exclusive merchandise and branded clothing.
- Zeroing delays on partnership discussions and event collaboration opportunities, working with companies as well as within the union.
- Exploring all of our funding avenues for new equipment, such as the Switch 2, and expanding the storage on our laptops.

This year as part of the committee, I have consistently pushed for an increase in our eSports activity, which resulted in us expanding what we do, both in terms of events and regular socials. We have made moves together in the right direction to foster both casual and competitive communities that consistently attend society events. I take pride in having contributed to that progress.

I have been a part of a lot of societies and committees in my time, and rarely have I seen one as much like a family as the eSports society is now, and I think that is something worth protecting. Voting for me means you are supporting someone who finds the community much more important than the games we play together.
