Hi I’m Bella! You may remember me from such events as: chickening out of Atemis and an interesting purple belt grading in Sheffield. I’ve absolutely loved being on committee this year and I would like to continue helping the club by taking on more responsibilities. Being able to make a difference to a society that has given me so much back has been a pleasure and I’d appreciate the chance to try my hand at a more senior role. I’m organised, love spreadsheets and am familiar with committee dealings, and I think I’d make a great secretary.

The position of secretary would allow me to give back to this club, which has always been so encouraging and welcoming to me, in a role that I feel would suit the skills I possess. In my time as my Sixth Forms Head Girl, I was involved in the planning and delivery of our Sixth Form Prom, a 150+ person event which required me to liaise with businesses, members of staff and my peers. As well as this I led a team in the Dacorum Borough councils Dragons Apprentice Challenge raising over £1,200 for charity and gaining an extensive understanding of how a team can effectively work with a mix of skill sets. Through these roles I have been able to utilise many forms of communication including emails, phone conversations and online and in person presentations and meetings in order to share information. Since joining this club I have gained more confidence in trying and learning new skills and been able to connect with an amazing group of people and so would like to utilise my skills in order to help see the continuation of this club.
