Hi everyone! My name is Lizzie and I am excited to offer my candidacy for the Networking Coordinator role with Students for Global Health. In this position, I am excited to connect our local SFGH committee with the broader national network through conferences and collaborations. I really enjoyed being part of a wider network this January at the National SFGH Conference, so hope to encourage others to also attend next year and build on the relationship we made with Newcastle SFGH!

Through my proactive approach, I aim to create meaningful relationships with other societies and organisations who share our vision for global health equity and justice. Moreover, I look forward to contacting speakers and SFGH alumnae to create a platform for regular impactful talks.

Hi! I'm Maisha, a second year medical student passionate about global health and I'd love to be your networking coordinator next year. I have much previous experience with networking within the global health community, having conducted multiple interviews for previous research projects; my prior experience with various other society committees, excellent communication skills and general bubbly and approachable demeanor will also enable me in fulfilling this exciting new role!
